IP-INTEGRA VoIP Mobile Application Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 11, 2026

1. OVERVIEW
This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of the IP-INTEGRA VoIP mobile application (the “App”), developed by FREUND (“we”, “our”, “us”). This App is a specialized VoIP interface designed for intercom and access control.

Unlike general-purpose communication apps, IP-INTEGRA VoIP operates within a managed ecosystem where the user's account and connectivity are governed by a Service Provider (e.g., building management, an employer, or a system integrator).

2. DEFINITIONS
• Service Provider: The entity (Property Manager, Employer, or System Integrator) that owns or operates the SIP Server to which your App connects.
• SIP Server: The infrastructure (Local or Cloud-based) that facilitates the routing of intercom calls and door commands.
• User: The individual who has installed the App on their mobile device.

3. DATA ARCHITECTURE & ROLES
The App is designed to prioritize user privacy by minimizing data transit through FREUND’s own systems.
• On-Premise Deployment: Where the Service Provider utilizes a local SIP server, FREUND has no access to your personal data, IP addresses, or communication logs. All data remains within the Service Provider’s private infrastructure.
• Cloud Deployment: Where the Service Provider utilizes FREUND Cloud services, FREUND acts as a Data Processor. We process technical data strictly to facilitate the connection between the App and the intercom hardware.

4. DATA PROCESSED
To ensure functional intercom operations, the following data is processed:
• Technical Identifiers (IP Address): In accordance with the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), the App must share the device’s IP address with the server to route audio and video. This data is used solely for the duration of the session and system maintenance.
• Provisioning Data: User credentials and contact lists are provided by the Service Provider. This data is stored locally on the user’s device and is not harvested by FREUND for marketing or external analysis.
• Call Metadata: In Cloud deployments, we may process timestamps and connection success rates for troubleshooting and system optimization. We do not record, intercept, or store the content of audio or video calls.

5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The App requests specific OS-level permissions. These are used only for the App's core functionality and are not used for background tracking:
• Microphone & Camera: To facilitate duplex communication with the intercom.
• Phone State: To manage call interruptions and native OS call integration.
• Push Notifications: To alert the user of an incoming intercom call when the App is in the background.
• System Overlay: To allow the "Unlock Door" and "Answer" interface to appear over the lock screen.

6. DATA SECURITY & RETENTION
FREUND employs industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data:
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell or share data with advertisers or third-party data brokers.
• Retention: Technical logs are kept only for the minimum period required for system stability and are purged regularly.

7. USER RIGHTS & CONTACT
Because the Service Provider acts as the Data Controller, users wishing to exercise their rights (access, correction, or deletion of account data) should contact their building management or system administrator directly.
